Where connectors must be frequently connected and disconnected, a quick connect coupling has been made as an integral part of the connector. A similar concept to the popular pneumatic quick connect couplings is used.

To connect, simply push the two ends together until the locking sleeve is securely anchored on the plug end. To disconnect, slide the locking sleeve towards the cable end until the plug disengages.

Features:

This unique connector features a panel-mounted Dual Function Connector suitable for threaded and push-pull (quick disconnect) connection.
The threaded male panel mount has locking grooves.
Initially the connector can be specified with the more economical threaded connector and later converted to the more user-friendly push-pull style.
Easy connect / disconnect even under restricted space conditions.
Available in Signal & Power.

Panel Connector Application Previously Protech Systems used ITT Canon flange (panel mount) and plug connectors. The connectors are made of light cast iron that when hit even by soft impact, gets damaged. We had repair requests by our customers consistently. Protech
Protech discovered Sealcon connectors in a Nedco Electronics flyer. We contacted Sealcon and spoke with Raphael Brunner to get samples of the Hummel Panel Mount and 90 degree plug connector. The connectors are nickel plated brass and very durable, and attractive to our application.
Since we have been using the Hummel connectors we have no customer complaints or repair requests for damaged connectors.
